Nurseries and schools can generate vast numbers of media items and often encounter problems trying to instantly find that important image which relates to an observation or observations. With the ILD Media Manager, photos, audio and video clips can be found and used in seconds saving valuable time during your busy day. This is where all your media is automatically stored regardless of how and when it was recorded. The system also date stamps media to enable easy filtered search by room, class, custom group or various date range options.

Create Media Albums

Group media items together and create albums. Simply name your album and decide if you wish to keep it private (visible to you) or public which means it will be available on the Media Manager for all users to view.

Filtering your Media

Quickly filter your media in various ways. By class or classes / By custom group or groups / By pre-defined date period / Uploaded today / By custom date periods / No comments written / By album.

Child Identity Protection

When an image is enlarged, you have the option to apply Child Identity Protection (C.I.P.). A list of pupils is presented for selection based on those pupils you have flagged in the Pupil Manager as requiring C.I.P.

Create Observations

Choose the Create Observation function which opens your Pupil Selector. Here, you select pupils across multiple classes and/or groups that were involved in the media item. Simply open the Observation Entry page where you can include a title and observation details.

Uploading Media

You can also upload external media from cameras or image folders by using the Upload Media Files function. This allows you to search your device, laptop or PC and select multiple files for upload. These can include photos, audio and videos clips.
