How we keep your data private, secure and backed up

We understand how important the privacy and security of your information is to you. At Interactive Learning Diary we have an advanced set of security measures to protect your information.

Software security

1. Every user has their own secure and unique username and password.

2. The whole application is protected by a secure SSL certificate (HTTPS at the start of the web address and the PADLOCK at the top of your browser) which means that any data sent from your setting to the Interactive Learning Diary is encrypted so no one can intercept the information. We not only use this protection when you are on the site but also when we transfer photos automatically from your camera or tablet PC.

3. Every setting has their own dedicated database, therefore eliminating any possibility of contamination and any setting seeing another settings data. This database will only ever store your data which will always belong to you.

4. Your dedicated database is held securely in a UK data-centre and hosted by one of the largest hosting providers in the UK.

5. And finally, on top of all the above every dedicated database is password protected and only those key individuals from the ILD who support our clients have access to this data.

Backup facilities

All our key hardware has redundant backups so no data will be lost. Additionally all your data is backed up to a secure location every evening. We will always be in a position to perform a full backup recovery should it be required.

We go to great lengths to keep your data safe and secure, because we know just how important it is to you.

Privacy

We will never give, rent or sell access to your data to anyone else, nor will we make use of it ourselves for any purpose other than to provide you with new developments and updates to the Interactive Learning Diary system. Read our full privacy policy for more details.

All personnel working with or who are part of the ILD Team are fully CRB & PVG checked at enhanced levels. This forms part of our rigorous recruitment procedures.
